The Practice-Oriented Mini MBA Program is jointly developed by the Viet Potentials Academy (VPA) – Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Andrews University (USA) to equip business leaders and managers with practical, up-to-date management knowledge and leadership capabilities required in today’s rapidly changing business environment.
The program emphasizes innovation, practical application, and real-world business experience, integrating the latest global management trends with practical insights shared by senior executives from leading corporations in Vietnam.
It is among the first executive education programs in Vietnam to comprehensively incorporate Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Green Transformation, and Sustainable Development across all modules, ensuring participants gain the competencies needed to lead modern enterprises.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The program aims to:
1. Provide participants with the latest global business management knowledge and practical skills that can be immediately applied to solve real business challenges and improve organizational performance.
2. Develop the strategic mindset and managerial competencies required of modern executives in an increasingly globalized economy.
3. Inspire leadership potential and strengthen participants’ confidence in executive decision-making, preparing them to successfully assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or multifunctional business leader responsible for driving organizational success.

Course Curriculum

Module 1 – Strategic Management & International Business (4 Sessions)
Participants will learn to:
4. Master the complete strategic management process, including strategic planning, implementation, and control, and effectively apply these skills in dynamic business environments, particularly in international markets.
5. Analyze the macro-environment using the PESTEL Framework, industry competitiveness using Porter’s Five Forces and the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, internal capabilities using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, and formulate strategies using the SWOT, SPACE, and QSPM frameworks.
6. Manage organizational performance through Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), including designing and implementing KPI-based performance management systems.

Module 2 – Corporate Financial Management & Financial Decision-Making (4 Sessions)
Participants will:
7. Master the principles, objectives, tools, and decision-making processes of corporate financial management, including financial statement analysis, financial ratio analysis, business planning, and cash flow budgeting.
8. Understand emerging applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Financial Technology (FinTech) in financial management, risk management, and innovation.
9. Analyze financial performance using key financial indicators.
10. Develop financial plans, manage working capital, understand mergers and acquisitions (M&A), prepare cash flow statements, forecast operating cash flows, and formulate corporate financing strategies.

Module 3 – Human Capital Management 4.0 (4 Sessions)
Participants will:
11. Understand the evolving role of human resource management in the Industry 4.0 era and address emerging workforce challenges.
12. Appreciate the importance of employee experience, leadership development, talent retention, and employee engagement.
13. Apply AI technologies in recruitment, learning and development, compensation, and performance management.
14. Learn strategic HR management practices, including workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, learning and development, performance management, total rewards, employee experience, competency framework development, leadership capability building, and corporate culture.

Module 4 – Lean Operations Management with Technology Applications (3 Sessions)
Participants will:
15. Understand emerging trends and challenges in Lean Management, from strategic concepts to operational implementation, in order to optimize business processes and organizational resources.
16. Gain an overview of how Artificial Intelligence can be applied to improve business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen enterprise management in the digital age.

Module 5 – Marketing Management 5.0 (4 Sessions)
Participants will:
17. Understand the principles of Marketing 5.0, integrated and sustainable marketing, the impact of emerging technologies on marketing strategy and customer experience, and how AI is transforming modern marketing.
18. Develop the ability to design and execute effective marketing strategies for sustainable business growth.

Module 6 – Enhancing Executive Leadership in the Digital Era (4 Sessions)
Participants will:
19. Strengthen strategic thinking and leadership capabilities required to lead organizations through change in the digital economy.
20. Learn modern leadership frameworks and management tools.
21. Master contemporary management approaches such as the OODA Loop and Agile Strategy.
22. Develop leadership skills suited to the demands of the digital era.

Module 7 – Artificial Intelligence Applications in Executive Management (3 Sessions)
Participants will explore how AI can enhance management effectiveness across the organization, including:
23. AI as a productivity and decision-support tool for modern executives.
24. AI applications in corporate financial management.
25. AI applications across business functions and enterprise operations.
26. AI-powered human resource management.
27. AI in learning and development, talent development, and building learning organizations.

Corporate Study Visit (1 Session)
Participants will undertake a corporate study visit to a leading enterprise, providing opportunities to observe best management practices, exchange experiences with senior executives, and gain first-hand insights into successful business operations and organizational transformation.
